Happy 3rd birthday!

Today this blog turns three. Happy birthday to the Fairy!

I thought about these three years and how this humble little blog has changed my life. It has been a diary, a sounding board, a place where new friends were made and old ones were rediscovered, a safety valve for when things in my life became too much, it brought new opportunities and allowed me to follow my dream of sharing my writing with like-minded people. Most of all, it introduced me to a whole new world of women who are a daily inspiration to me and who make me want to be a better person and mother.

And by inspirational women I am referring to both other bloggers and to you, my friends. You were there to offer words of comfort, encouragement and support whenever they were needed. Your comments make my day, as do your emails and messages. You know how to make a person feel loved.

The number three has also taken on a new meaning for me. If you’ve been reading for some time, you’ll know what I’m referring to. If  you’re new to here, THIS POST will help you understand. I am not going to go into that today (three cheers for that!) but I am looking forward to the fourth year of this blog and I hope you are too!
