Cabin fever

The last time I posted was the week The Grand Saga of Winter 2015 started.

We’ve been playing pass on the virus for the past several weeks and even ended up in hospital for an endless nine days with Ivy. Here we are, a few days away from Easter, still trying to get our health (and sanity) back. I know this winter has been a rough one for many families and I really hope milder weather and the summer season which I detest so much will help everyone get back on their feet.

We were meant to go to Paris this Sunday. The last time we visited, Robin was little and Ivy was still a wish. We were really looking forward to spending a few days together without computers and work to distract us, just enjoying each other and our favourite place on earth (though Norway has been vying for that spot for over a year now). Instead, we’re here counting breaths per minute and administering medicines. I am pretty upset about it but there are worse things in life.

So, until good health is finally restored, I’ll be here sanitising my hands while wearing yet another surgical mask. Roll on summer!
