Mondays with TED

This weekend was a sad one. As much as I try to stay away from the news and negativity, it is impossible to ignore what is going on all around us. The senseless acts of terrorism in Paris, Lebanon and Iraq have left everyone in a state of shock (and anger).

That is why I wanted to share a different kind of TED talk today. It’s short but powerful. It is delivered by the son of a terrorist.

Instead of following in his father’s footsteps, Zak Ebrahim chose to use his knowledge about terrorism and his unique experiences growing up to help others break free from the hold of religious extremism. I hope his words restore a little faith in humanity in you as they did in me.
